Lesley Taylor

CLD, CLC (she/her)

My name is Lesley Taylor and I am a mother to 2 and a grandmother of 6, I am a Certified Labor Doula (CAPPA) and a Certified Lactation Counsellor (ALPP) and have completed Level 1 & 2 Breastfeeding with the Quintessence Foundation.

My doula journey began when my daughter was expecting her first child. She had secured a midwife for her upcoming birth but had to transfer care to an OB at the last moment. The midwife stayed with us during her labour and birth and it was amazing to have someone in the room that could explain things as they happened. I realized that this was something I could do to support other families.

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth and have taken every opportunity to learn as much as I can in this field.

My goal as your doula is to educate, empower, and support your family during your birth journey. I believe in the power of a positive birth experience that allows families to begin parenthood with happiness and confidence, knowing they had the best birth possible.

I feel honoured to be able to support families at such a special time in their lives.

Aoife Fee

CPE, ECE  (she/her)

My name is Aoife Fee and I am a mother to 2 children. I have always enjoyed working with children and families starting in my teenage years as a babysitter, then moving to group and foster homes, licensed home childcare, child and family centres, and now as a Doula.

I also have a love of learning, which led me to working towards my certification as a Labour/Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am also a certified Perinatal Educator and Infant Massage Instructor. I have completed Level 1 & 2 Breastfeeding with the Quintessence Foundation; I am a registered Early Childhood Educator and have a diploma in Child and Youth Work.

I am a strong believer that knowledge is power. When it comes to being prepared for labour, birth and beyond, it is so important for parents to feel empowered, and have all the information they need to make the best decisions for their family.
