This class is loaded with great information designed to set families up for success in their breastfeeding journeys. Some of the subjects we will be covering are:
Myths and truths of breastfeeding
How breastfeeding works
How to establish and maintain a good milk supply
How to get your baby to latch
How to know if your baby is getting enough milk
Growth and expected weight gain in the newborn.
Pumping and storing breastmilk
Positions for breastfeeding
When and where to get help should you need it.
Classes start March 2 2021 and run for 3 weeks from 6:00-7:00 with time afterward for questions. Class is held virtually due to Covid-19
Attendees will receive an invite to our private Facebook page where you can connect with Doulas, Lactation Counsellors and other breastfeeding families.
